Accessorial Policy & Fees

  •  

    Policy:

    • Appointment Loads: Free time allowed is 2 hours from the scheduled appointment time at both shipper and consignee facilities. Detention begins immediately after the 2-hour free time window expires.

    • First-Come, First-Served (FCFS) Loads: Free time allowed is 3 hours from the moment the driver arrives and checks in within the designated FCFS window at both the shipper and consignee facilities. Detention begins immediately after the 3-hour free time window expires.

    *All detention time is calculated based on the arrival and departure times documented on the driver's electronic logging system (ELD).

     

    FEE: $75 / hour for Appointment and $50 / hour for FCFS

    Policy: Applies when a dispatch order is canceled by the shipper or 3PL broker after a driver has been dispatched or has arrived at the loading location prior to loading. ​

     

    FEE: $150 standard rate

    ​

  •  

    Policy: Layover fee applies when a driver is delayed overnight at a facility (shipper or consignee) through no fault of the driver, resulting in an involuntary stoppage of operations for 24 hours.​

     

    FEE: $350 / day

    ​

  •  

    Policy: Applies whenever the driver is required to physically assist in loading, tailgating, or unloading freight at the shipper or consignee.​

     

    FEE: $180 per event

    ​

  •  

    Policy: Applies  to each additional pickup or delivery location beyond the primary origin and final destination points.​

     

    FEE: $100 per additional stop or $2.00 per mile if additional stop is over 50 miles from primary origin or final destination

    ​

    Policy: Charged when a customer or 3PL broker changes the final delivery address after the load has already been dispatched or is in transit.​

     

    FEE: $125 administrative fee + $2.00 per out-of-route mile

    ​

  •  

    Policy: Applies when freight must be held on the trailer at a secure company facility due to a customer or 3PL broker requested delivery delay or facility closure.​

    *This fee is in addition to a layover fee if driver is on-duty.

     

    FEE: $125 / day per trailer

    ​

  •  

    Policy: Charged when additional mileage is accrues due to shipper/consignee rerouting or emergency road bypasses requested by customer or 3PL broker.​

     

    FEE: $2.00 per additional mile

    ​
